Finding solutions to unexpected changes

Coverage details with all Medicare insurance products (Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare prescription plans) can change every year. This means that pricing, covered medications and their costs, physicians and hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and pharmacies included in the plans (and more) can be very different from one year to the next. Not all of these changes are important, but every once in a while a change is made that might be VERY important to you. If you are already enrolled in a Medicare plan, be sure to check the coverage every year during the annual enrollment period (Oct. 15 – Dec. 7) to make sure something important to you hasn’t changed. We help many Medicare beneficiaries each year and always find at least one or two people who realize their long-time Medicare Advantage plan no longer covers an expensive medication or their physician is no longer covered by that company. Don’t let this happen to you.
