Children Are Priceless Passengers (CAPP) classes are open to the public for voluntary participation and for drivers cited for a child safety seat violation.

Understand why and how to use a child safety seat
During the class, participants learn about the effects of a collision, types and dynamics of a child safety seat, how to install and use their seats correctly in their vehicle by the use of an instructional video as well as hands-on lecture.Child safety seats are provided as part of the class fee to those individuals who don’t currently have a seat or have one that is outdated, recalled by the manufacturer, involved in a collision, or with inadequate and/or missing parts.Fee: $35 paid the day of the class by cash, money order or check. Credit cards are not accepted and exact change is appreciated as the instructors do not have change. If you have more than one child-restraint violation, there is a $35 fee per violation.To register, please contact us

English-language classes are 9-10:30 a.m.
Spanish-language classes are 10:30 a.m.-noon.

Evenflo Sonus 50

  • For children ages birth to 6 years old
  • Convertible car seat
  • Rear-facing: 5 pounds – 40 pounds
  • Forward-facing: 22 pounds – 50 pounds
Evenflo small booster CAPP program

Evenflow Amp booster seat

  • At least 5 years old
  • 40 pounds to 110 pounds
  • 40-inches to 57-inches tall
